Kirkland, Washington - October 29, 2007 -SchemaLogic, the leading provider of Business Semantics Management for Global 5000 companies, announced today that it has joined the Interop Vendor Alliance, a community of software and hardware vendors working together to enhance interoperability with Microsoft products.

SchemaLogic software enables Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 users to store, locate and retrieve information in a consistent way, improving information access and governance to content stored in Office SharePoint Server 2007 sites across the enterprise. Companies use SchemaLogic software to develop, manage and connect the metadata models that describe corporate information assets stored across multiple SharePoint Server 2007 sites. This metadata is published to all SharePoint Server 2007 sites as well as other third party content management, search, portal and classification systems, enabling them to work together seamlessly in a cost-effective manner and allowing information to flow across the organization.

By participating in the Interop Vendor Alliance, SchemaLogic will ensure that its solutions for SharePoint Server 2007 are integrated and interoperable with Microsoft technologies for optimum performance. Products will be tested in a multi-vendor environment, making it easier to ensure interoperability. Joining the alliance will also allow SchemaLogic to publish materials describing how companies are addressing interoperability with Microsoft technologies in the enterprise.

Kirkland, Washington - October 29, 2007 -SchemaLogic, the leading provider of Business Semantics Management software for Global 5000 companies, today announced Chevron has chosen SchemaLogic Enterprise Suite as a critical software component for the company's Global Information Link (GIL3) initiative. This strategic initiative defines Chevron's overall information management strategy, global hardware and software architecture and operating environment for its 56,000 employees in 180 countries.

In addition, CTTV Investments LLC, the Venture Capital arm of Chevron Technology Ventures, will be investing in SchemaLogic, adding to the Company's latest investment round announced in July led by Goldman Sachs.

GIL3's technical architecture includes all desktop, infrastructure and information management systems worldwide.

As a critical component of GIL3, Chevron is deploying Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server (MOSS) 2007 globally as its primary collaboration and content management platform for Microsoft Office documents. When completed, this will be one of the largest implementations of SharePoint in the world. Critical to the success of the project is the implementation of a File Plan model to ensure that digital information assets are described in a consistent way across the enterprise. Chevron has selected SchemaLogic as the only enterprise-scalable software for management and collaboration of its corporate File Plan, integration of their managed File Plan within Microsoft SharePoint, and synchronization of the evolving Business Semantics across the entire global SharePoint environment.

This global File Plan ensures that documents and other information can be stored, retrieved and shared across the enterprise. The overarching File Plan defines the Business Semantics used for describing the content in SharePoint and managing the application of Chevron's classic Records Management activities, which are critical for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. As a result of the GIL3 initiative, Chevron is improving governance over their content, resulting in improved regulatory compliance and information access to the millions of documents housed in its repository.
